Xander von Zerf is a very handsome 1-2 year old German Shepherd. Xander is a wonderful boy with so much to offer. According to a family who briefly had him at their home: "He is an absolute amazing dog...he is full of love and devotion, he is also playful and full of life...he takes quickly to people (adults and children)...He is very loving...and inquisitive.... Someone is going to be extremely lucky when they adopt him." He has been great with people and dogs at the rescue. On walks he stick close to his person. And he enjoys walking along with his fellow dogs. Similarly, he is a playgroup star, greeting all his soon-to-be best friends. As much as he enjoys hanging with his canine friends, he likes people even more. Don’t be surprised when you find him at your heels, asking for pets with his soulful puppy-dog eyes. This medium-energy boy is housebroken and crate-trained and has mastered the "sit" command. With how food-motivated he is, learning more commands shouldn’t be too hard!
